Anaheim, CA(Hollywood Today)1/27/14/NAMM, for the un- initiated, stands for National Association of Musical Merchants. It is a trade  show only not open to the general public. This is one of the most amazing tradeshows in the history of tradeshows. Everyone, and I mean everyone is a consummate professional in the music industry either as a supplier or vendor or the consumer or any of the myriad of other tangential engineering and service oriented booths that are at this convention.

And let’s not forget about the people that are attending the show, they too are consummate professionals and musicians and the musicians which are hired by all of the different vendors to demonstrate incredible technological advances taking place in simply one year from 2013. And it’s worth mention of the complete diversity in the music industry from the such companies as Yamaha to Taylor Guitars and support of returning IRAQ veteran.

Here at Zoom we’ve been building innovative products for the past thirty years. But with the revolutionary H6 six-track recorder, the bar is raised further still. Four interchangeable input capsules – X/Y, MS, Shotgun, and Dual XLR/TRS Combo – make the H6 the ultimate chameleon of the audio world, and its advanced preamps make it the best-sounding one too. Whatever your application – live recording, professional film/video work, live broadcast or electronic news gathering – the H6 can handle it with ease.

There are all the supporting technologies as well , cases, stands, cables, connectors, musical insurance and personal  hearing protection devices, ear plugs, noise suppression equipment, during  NAMM the sound squad was making there rounds to monitor sound decibels( 80 to 90 is harmful).

I have attended many trade shows and worked many. My hats off to all the employees that stand by their posts, rarely venturing into the show, dedicated to making the show a success for their company.  Well now the show is over, it was a very impressive trade show on every level. Check the NAMM website for more information. Until 2015, make music.

I am already looking forward to next year .

Strumming for Vets is an organization that has come up with a way to help restore the feeling of joy and self-worth that can be lost after extreme trauma. With music therapy and donated guitars and teachers donating their time, these vets are given a new type of therapy that works!

http://rockforvets.net/

The Rock For Vets Music Instructional / Education Program has been active at the VA Long Beach since May 2010.  We have helped hundreds of Veterans who suffer from PTSD, Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, Blind Rehab and many other illnesses through learning a musical instrument or band participation which has led to Veterans becoming self confident with an increased self worth and being able to transition back into civilian life.

http://www.guitars4vets.org/

Founded in 2008, Guitars for Vets is a nonprofit that provides six free, one-on-one guitar lessons and a new acoustic guitar to veterans in recovery. Its mission is simple: Turn the guitar into a source of healing, communication, and self-expression. Veterans enrolled in the program receive their own new Oscar Schmidt acoustic guitar at their sixth lesson, and thereafter they can continue learning through group lessons. G4V began in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but has chapters in several other states—as well as one in Afghanistan—and it’s receiving requests from VA centers across the country. Six strings at a time, it’s working miracles.

This action on the part will set you back plenty in money.
After  we  initiate a trade  due to fundamental reasons, and of
another matters’ price can fluctuate to either side.

You can try by asking them if their company
will help you participate in daily stock trading and utilize strategies right away.
