HOLLYWOOD(Hollywood Today)1/25/14/–Online dating services usually fail, because online dating usually fails. The simple reason is that everyone  expects results, no one can make that happen, and users get very unhappy very quickly, even the main industry rag Online Dating Magazine admits the success rate is a mere one percent compared to an estimated fifty percent for startups in general

Martin Zwilling Forbes Magazine

There are more than 2,500 online dating services in the United States with 1,000 new online dating services opening every year. It is estimated that there are 8,000 dating services worldwide.

Veteran actor Gary Hudson with 35 films to his credit has never had a problem when it comes to meeting women. His role in the 1989 classic cult film “ROADHOUSE” started a national cry from women around the country for a date with Gary Hudson. If anyone is outgoing when it comes to the opposite sex it would be Gary Hudson. Dare a woman smile at him or give a nod, or a friendly hello and Gary is off and running. It can be said that Gary is a pro in the art of social skills, when it comes to women eager to take their smiles or nods a few steps further.

Gary Hudson always knows what to say to an attractive woman that passes his way with a look that summons attention. Why then would the tall good looking Gary Hudson be associated with online dating?

Gary Hudson portrays Dr. Harris Koling in the LIFETIME FILM “THE GIRL HE MET ONLINE,” which airs at 8 PM on February 8, 2014. Dr. Koling (Gary Hudson) a married man hires a new secretary who turns out to be a woman seeking relationships through an online dating service. Dr. Koling’s 23 year old secretary Gillian, portrayed by actress Mary-Margaret Humes turns out to be bipolar and is using Dr. Koling for her online rendezvous. Gary Hudson believes the art of engaging your social skills to meet is still the only way to develop a relationship. According to Gary “The internet with all the online dating services has taken the fun out of the chase.”

Gary Hudson recently won best supporting actor for the independent film “DEADLINE” at the Los Angeles Film Festival. He was nominated for the MONTE CARLO FILM FESTIVAL AWARD for “WILD ROSES”. He has been featured in “BATTLE IN SEATTLE” starring Woody Harrelson, Charlize Theron. “EYE OF THE KILLER” with Kiefer Sutherland “SHE’S TOO YOUNG” with Marcia Gay Harden “THE MARY LETOURNEAU STORY” and “JASPER TEXAS” with Jon Voight and Louis Gossett, Jr. in “A SEASON ON THE BRINK.”

Hudson is as talented as he is good-looking. He may not be a house-hold name, but he’s an artisan in his approach. Kudos Gare!
