Universal City, CA (Hollywood Today) 12/5/13 - The “Who-bilation” began on November 27 at Universal Studios Hollywood, starting the “Grinchmas” holiday season.

Stage and Screen actor, Florence Henderson was honored as the “Who-Manitarian of the Year” for her charitable contribution and work with the City of Hope.

Ms. Henderson, our favorite tv mom, Carol Brady, (“Brady Bunch”), is considered a world leader in compassionate patient care and ground breaking research.

The Grinchmas fun continues every weekend through December 15 with a fantastic Grinchmas tree at Universal Plaza. The tree spins 60 feet above the guests and offers opportunities for family photo fun with the Grinch himself, and his dog Max.

For a close-up experience of the blockbuster film, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, Universal Studio Tours offers a behind-the-scenes visit to Who-ville with re-enactments and songs for the whole family.

Besides the Grinchmas experience, the Buy A Day-Get 2014 Free pass will bring guests back to enjoy return visits to the theme park for thrilling rides on “Transformers, The Ride-3D”, “Jurassic Park” and the “Simpsons Ride”, as well as the newest addition: “Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem”; the Studio Tour and City Walk for shopping and entertainment.

In addition, tonight December 5th, Tamar Braxton will perform at CityWalk’s (Universal Studios Hollywood) Holiday Tree Lighting Spectacular. After, she will be do a meet & greet with fans, signing copies of her CD. Tamar is hot off a US tour with John Legend and will be performing songs off her recent #1 album, “Love and War”.

Additionally, this weekend The Salvation Army will be hosting their annual Rock the Red Kettle with stars like Austin Mahone, Coco Jones and Kelly Rowland and (12/7 at 5pm). Fans can RSVP for Rock the Red Kettle on Facebook. Michelle Williams will also hit the stage on Sunday 12/8. The concerts will take place on the CityWalk “5 Towers” stage which is located outside the park and open to the public. This is a great opportunity for fans to see these artists for free and get in the holiday spirit!   Lots going on for the holidays.
