At the Cable Show this week, Red Touch showcased their full cadre of management and distribution products: Connect, Bridge, Express at their booth. This is where we had the chance to spend a few minutes with Jon Accarrino, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Carpet affair this week in Los Angeles, but “the format is going to be much different this year”. CNN will be broadcasting the event throughout the evening.
The theme of the day is “Past, Present and Future” and quite fitting. It made sense for Red Touch because, “our company is all about the future of content distribution and so for us to partner with the Emmy’s is to really show the future of where things are going the industry the technology. And then the past, they’re honoring a lot of the daytime TV legends at the show.”
Instead of hearing the overly-long thank you’s, “They’re gonna sit down and have an interactive conversation with a different talk show host.” Accarrino is excited about this new idea, “I think it could change how award shows are structured. I mean it’s a fantastic idea.”
After spending 14 years at NBC launching the social media program and creating accounts for The Today Show talent, NBC blew up to 10 million followers. Red Touch was looking to ramp up their marketing department and brought him in.
As a parting question, HT asked if Accarrino had anything else to add and he replied, “The after party. Red Touch is also sponsoring the after party up on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton.
