Hollywood,CA(Hollywood Today) 1/30/13/– For the past 23 years we have attended and covered Norby Walter’s Annual Night of 100 stars Oscar Viewing Gala, and this year will be no exception. Only this year, as Edward Lozzi super publicist states: “ There will be approximately 150-200 film and TV celebs attending the hottest celeb Awards party in town, with even bigger names than last year.” Norby Walters, veteran music agent reprises his role as Producer and Dinner Chairman, and what better venue than the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom. Some of the celebs invited included Anne Heche, Ron Perlman, Lee Ann Rimes, Ed Lauter (Artist), Bo Derek, Tia Carrere and The Incredible Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno.
What could be sweeter than dining on gourmet 5-Star Cuisine, next to one of the 50 Academy Award Winners and Nominees attending including Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Tilly, Linda Blair or Shirley Jones (seen here holding her Oscar for Elmer Gantry)? You can have the opportunity to attend this star-studded sit-down dinner on Sunday, Feb. 24th, by calling 310-446-5416. Tickets are $1,000 per seat for this event of a lifetime. Hope to see you there!
Lots of Oscar winners at the recent Inauguration in Washington, D.C. including Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, Octavia Spencer, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, and Steven Spielberg, who is bound to win many awards for Lincoln.
Our pal, Skin Revision guru Dr. Danne Montague-King attended the events, as a guest of Stuart Milk, for his support of the Harvey Milk Foundation. This non-profit organization was established in memory of Harvey Milk, one of the world’s first openly gay elected officials, who was assassinated in 1978. Their goal is to empower all individuals, including gay, lesbian, racial and all ethnic minorities to receive equal opportunity and freedom As you may recall, the film Milk, starring Sean Penn, was the recipient of many Oscars & other awards.
Dr. Danne, along with the entire Milk group, joined singer/actor Ricky Martin, and sat in sub-zero weather to observe the ceremonies. “I felt a corner was turned that day, states King. “The President covered all bases with passion, sincerity and grace and we all felt like true Americans and proud, despite the many diversities of life style and politics present.”
He also attended a reception held by Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, which followed this “family theme,” and told her that he hoped we all work together to follow through on social equality for all.
