I will continue to fight, raise money and bring awareness, and partner and fund foundations and non-profit organizations who promote music and the arts, for I believe as it was in my case, that children exposed to music and the arts will become well rounded adults and individuals, for they go hand in hand.” NAMM President and CEO elaborated on how the partnership between NAMM and Mr. Williams came about. “I felt it was important to contact Mr. Williams after reading his book Rhythms of the Game: The Link Between Musical and Athletic Performance,” said Lamond. “Bernie’s passion for music and dedication is in line with NAMM and the NAMM Foundation’s mission to promote and advocate music and the arts in schools, and what better musician, mentor and inspiration than Bernie.” Bernie Williams Official Web Site http://www.bernie51.com/ Photographer:Fredwill Hernandez NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, commonly called NAMM in reference to the organization’s popular NAMM trade shows, is the not-for-profit association that promotes the pleasures and benefits of making music and strengthens the $17 billion global music products industry.
