“Look boss, da plane, da plane!” By Harvey Sid Fisher North Hollywood, Ca(Hollywood Today) -11/21/12)—The playwright, JOSHUA RAVETCH is one of those indefatigable passionate artists who can never stop creating. Here he is the Writer and also the Director of  his world premier ONE NOVEMBER YANKEE, a 2-act play whose stage is dominated by a full sized upended single engine plane downed in the hills of wilderness with its nose crushed into the forest floor. (N24… is the registration number on the fuselage of the plane. All US civilian aircraft start with N (termed ‘November’ in pilot jargon). Coincidentally, the plane was delivered to the theater on November 1.               It is a 7-character play performed by 2 actors, and if you want a clue as to how much you will enjoy this play,  look at the stellar acting duo who signed on to perform this momentous piece of theater:  HARRY HAMLIN and LORETTA SWIT. These two huge names are not on this 99 seat NoHo stage because they need another credit on their resume. HARRY HAMLIN  and LORETTA SWIT support this unusual and twisty story by delivering intelligence, humor, reality, and a good helping of  highly charged electrical aplomb.   The impossible becomes true and the happening is made real. Together, this iconic team of two perform splendidly,to move the story and the audience. The crash of ONE NOVEMBER YANKEE is a smashing success.
