Rickland Orchard’s mission

Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Today) 11/19/2012 – Maria Menounos is probably better known for her work hosting Extra entertainment news and the popular reality series The Real World, but this September, the 34 year old actress, writer and producer became the spokesperson for Rickland Orchards new Greek Yogurt Bar. Though originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Menounos was born to Greek immigrant parents, maintaining her cultural connections through family, language and now, her affiliations with the Rickland Orchards brand. This past Thursday, November 15th, the Greek goddess hosted a holiday party at the W Hotel to jumpstart healthy eating during a time when we all tend to over indulge in the many edible delights of the season. And Hollywood Today was there.
The event ultimately served to benefit the Kibera School for Girls and the Shining Hope for Communities and was an amazing evening inspired by health, fitness and nutrition. Most in attendance were dressed to the nines, but that didn’t stop them from getting “Chilly” at the W Hotel’s indoor skating rink that opened the same night.
Rickland Orchard’s mission is to “Create great-tasting snacks for busy families that contain the goodness of Greek yogurt and the convenience to be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.” Despite the media frenzy surrounding Maria openly announcing her decision to put family planning on the backburner with the help of cryopreservation, one can’t deny that she is definitely a woman on the go who well represents the need to have nutritious and tasty snacks at hand. With eight different flavors to choose from, including the delicious Toasted Coconut and even better Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Strawberry, Rickland Orchards Greek Yogurt Bars have the potential curb cravings for calorie packed sweets we love.
Whether a hearty snack for a rushed lifestyle or a way to satisfy your sweet tooth without cheating, Greek Yogurt Bars are a great option. And with the lovely Maria Menounos supporting the brand you really can’t go wrong. Greek has never been sooo good!
