Georgetown Cupcakes Find New Home in LA Bakery

Washington DC’s Flagship store Georgetown Cupcake opened up a new location in LA.

Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne, are sisters and co-owners of Georgetown Cupcake. They are also known as stars of TLC’s hit show DC Cupcakes, and national best-selling authors of The Cupcake Dairies and Sweet Celebrations. Berman & LaMontagne were joined by Lindsey Shaw (“Pretty Little Liars”), Taylor Spreitler (“Melissa & Joey”), Alex Newell (“Glee”), Alexandra Chando (“The Lying Game”), Kathryn Fiore (“The Wedding Band”), Shanola Hampton  (“Shameless”), Emily Schuman (Blogger, Cupcakes & Cashmere), and a wide variety of guests as they celebrated the pre-grand opening of Georgetown Cupcake Los Angeles, last Thursday.   Attendees enjoyed rosé champagne and cupcakes as they explored Georgetown Cupcake’s fifth location, the first on the west coast.

The bakery officially opened to the public yesterday, November 17th at noon, and celebrated its opening with one free cupcake per person all day long. The menu offers over 100 cupcake flavors, among the most popular flavors are; salted caramel, peanut butter fudge, pumpkin spice and chocolate hazelnut.   Georgetown Cupcake already has stores in Washington DC (the flagship), Bethesda, New York and Boston. The Los Angeles location marks the 3rd opening  this year, with earlier openings in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, 111 Mercer Street and Boston’s  83 Newbury Street in February and June. Georgetown Cupcake Los Angeles, on 143 South Robertson Boulevard, is located in the north corner of 3rd Street, and is a 2.600 square foot space, which features an open concept kitchen, where costumers can view cupcakes being baked, frosted and decorated.     I’ve observed in the world the present day, video games include the latest fad with children of all ages. Many times it may be difficult to drag your kids away from the games. If you want the best of both worlds, there are lots of educational video games for kids. Interesting post.
