HOLYWOOD CA (Holywood Today) 2012/11/16 – “My favorite part of the move was potting the Muppets together with People,” says The Muppet Christmas Carol director Brian Henson. “ this was a very important film for us. This was the first Muppet production we made after my father Jim Henson died, and it was a real coming together of the group and the company. And I think for that reason the film will probably be a very important film to us and to the Muppets.”
Twenty years ago the Muppets took on Charles Dickens classic. Now it’s a classic in it’s own right. With Academy Award winner Michael Caine as Scrooge, songs by Oscar winner Paul Williams. Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat as wander the story as the narrator and ad humor to the story.
