Beverly Hills, CA(Hollywood Today)10/7/12/—Robert Knight is one of the great photographers in Rock & Roll. He’s photographed Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Slash, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and more. Of all the legends he’s worked with there’s probably no one he’s closer to then Slash.

Robert’s new book ‘Slash An Intimate Portrait’ is a truly intimate look at photographer and subject.  The book contains well over 100 incredible photos of Slash over a 20 year period. Of equal importance to the photos are the stories, in Robert’s own words, about his friendship with Slash.

The book begins with a terrific biography of Robert and then throughout we learn a great deal about Slash’s life. From Guns and Roses through Slash’s Snakepit, The Velvet Revolver, and up to today.  At the center of this story are the photographs: Concerts photos, sessions with Slash, sessions with Slash’s bands, backstage and behind the scenes photos too. Ronnie Wood wrote the book’s Foreword and Joe Perry wrote the Preface.
