An excellent job of playing off words

Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Today) 10/4/2012 – “We’re all gonna die, we’re never gonna make it to Vegas.” Says actor Nick Cole who plays the role of Jake in the newly released film, Stripped. The movie opened Tuesday night at the Hollywood Strip’s hottest nightspot, Supperclub, to a crowd of specially invited guests and Hollywood Today was on the list. The red carpet was aglow with attendees lining up for their VIP entry, passers by creating a gapers block attempting to identify celebrities and the lovely Nicole Sienna (Capri Johnson), posing for the cameras with a refined and sexy air of model chic. Though the event did get off to a late start, by 8:30 the room was packed, the drinks were flowing and you could hear the chatty buzz that resonated through the room as everyone talked excitedly about the coming attraction.

Unlike a traditional theatre, the viewing took place on Supperclub’s king sized beds that border the dance floor. This made for a cozy and romantic experience for some, watching the premiere of a new horror flick with plenty of room to kick back and cuddle. The opening scene was met with cheers of excitement from the crowd, and we all knew it was too late to get off the roller coaster.

Stripped, which was co-produced by and stars Josh Cole (Luke Cohen) and Nicole Sienna (Capri Johnson) is a story of best friends who go to Vegas for a weekend of debaucherous fun. “Ladies and gentleman, at long last we have arrived Las Vegas, the Strip, Sin City” says actor Nick Cole as he documents their arrival to Vegas on video. In a style reminiscent of Hostile, the group is lured to a secluded location after placing a call to request strippers. Blinded by the women’s beauty and seductiveness, the friends are oblivious to the horrors that await them. Drugged and secured to an operating table, each of the young men awake to the removal of their organs by a sinister doctor who, along with his band of lovelies, is looking to cash in on the black market.

Stripped does an excellent job of playing off words, as strippers lead them to the place where they are ultimately stripped of body parts. This, along with a young, talented and beautiful cast makes the film one to watch for sure. While it is currently being self distributed by the team through VOD downloading and social media, it has the potential to make it to millions of viewers. The movie was entertaining, intriguing and definitely left you wanting more. I’m certainly no Gene Siskel but I give Stripped a thumbs up.
