Hollywood, CA(Hollywood Today)9/21/12/—On Thursday Sept 20, Coco Eco Magazine hosted a VIP Cocktail party for Fran Drescher in honor of the launch of her “Trash Cancer” Campaign and to celebrate the Magazine’s 4th year Anniversary. Anna Griffin, Editor-in Chief, Nicole Landers Eco Marketing expert along with Dawna Shuman, Lighthouse Public Relations put on the party at the W Hotel Residence in Hollywood held in a Leed Certified Platinum Eco Penthouse. The night focused on Fran Drescher’s non- profit CANCER SCHMANCER and her TRASH CANCER campaign.

The Cancer Schmancer & Trash Cancer Campaign is all about how everyone has been affected by cancer in some way personally or through family or friends.  This year statistics claim cancer will be the leading killer in the world, stats are 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnostic ed with cancer. The campaign focused on the fact that there IS HOPE … they also claim if found early 90% SURVIVAL rate. The Campaign focuses on everyone surviving and  fighting the disease a  different way , CATCHING IT Early!!!  Early Prevention,  early detection and early  treatment are main focus.

The goal is to shift the nation from;  searching for a cure,  to education, prevention and early detection.  By empowering our loved ones and ourselves to be medical consumers, and listen to their bodies, ask the right questions of doctors, and seek second opinions, is the campaign to prevent cancer.  They are not reinventing  the wheel, they are focused on shedding more light on early detection and prevention.

The event brought awareness on cancer prevention sustainability, health and well being to explore green brands for living a healthy lifestyle. An Organic “vodka 360″ was featured , and “+Red” energy elixir drink also a 100% natural cleaning products line “earth friendly products” dish and cleaning soaps were featured through the Emmy Suite.
