Cancer Survivor Genevive (Genny) Johnson wins Colorado Sweepstake from Belldini

Hollywood CA, (Hollywood Today) 9/17/2011 – Belldini, a Los Angeles based women’s apparel line has announced the courageous winner of their Colorado Sweepstake contest.

Genevive (Genny) Johnson, single mom of two and cancer survivor, was selected to be the deserving winner for a complete new fall wardrobe by Belldini. Genny was chosen after her mom submitted an entry stating why her daughter was the most deserving candidate.

Genny’s mom made a special request to share her daughter’s prize with Jennifer, a relapsed cancer patient and Genny’s friend. Belldini has made the decision to present both women with their very own fall wardrobes.

Genny, who was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer underwent stem cell transplant earlier this year. While undergoing treatment she realized the unawareness about stem cell transplants and helped develop non-profit, Genny’s Hope Foundation that organizes bone marrow donor drives in colleges.

Genny met Jennifer, who was diagnosed three days before her wedding day, during treatment. Jennifer also underwent stem cell transplant but has unfortunately relapsed several times and continues to be in treatment.
