New York, NY (Hollywood Today) 02/14/12—Avalanna Routh, a 6-year-old girl battling AT/RT cancer, got a special Valentine date with pop singer Justin Bieber.

Bieber flew the little Boston girl and her family out to Manhattan to visit him Monday for their date. During their date, the two played board games and autographed each other’s hands. Avalanna even got to style Bieber’s hair the way she wanted it.

It all started when NBC’s Boston affiliate WHDH took notice of an online campaign Avalanna’s parents created with the hope their daughter could meet the pop star. The report caught Bieber’s attention and the rest is history.

“That was one of the best things I have ever done,” Bieber later wrote on his twitter. “She was AWESOME. Feeling really inspired right now.”
