Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood Today) 02/12/12—On Saturday night, we found out that one of the world’s most talented singers died unexpectedly.

Whitney Houston had a voice that many call a gift from God.

Saturday afternoon, a member of her entourage found her in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel. The Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics tried reviving her for 20 minutes before declaring the songstress dead.

Houston was only 48 years old.

The L.A. County coroner’s office performed an autopsy Sunday morning. It’s reported results will take weeks to complete.

Many have been pouring in tributes since Saturday night.

Tonight’s Grammy Awards will definitely be overshadowed by her death and deemed bittersweet.

The night will be bitter because we lost a young woman with a beautiful voice. However, it will be sweet because we had the chance to hear that beautiful voice.
