Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood Today) 01/21/12—German supermodel Heidi Klum and British soul singer Seal are filing for divorce, TMZ is reporting. Neither of the two nor their management has commented on the report.

It is reported that Klum, 38, will file the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court as early as next week and cite “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the break-up. Seal, 48, met Klum in 2004 when she was pregnant with daughter Leni, 7, from her relationship with Italian Formula One entrepreneur Flavio Briatore.

Seal and Klum married in May 2005 on a beach in Mexico. They have three children together—Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. The couple has become famous for renewing their vows in a lavish ceremony every year on their anniversary.

The divorce process, if followed through, may be a lengthy one indeed. According to Forbes, Klum has earned $20 million with television projects, fashion lines and endorsements. Seal’s earnings remain unclear.

Should the rumors be true, let’s hope the best for them as they go through a difficult time.
