Hollywood,CA(Hollywood Today)1/19/12/—Phoebe Rose, celebrity pug attended the divalicious beauty event at Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood where celeb guests enjoyed pampering and styling at the Wella Beauty Bar Bash in preparation for the Golden Globes Awards.
Joe Mantegna Rose Is A Rose
Celebrities attending included Jessica Szhor, Cheryl Burke, Busy Philipps, Ali Fedotowsky, Karina Smirnoff, Carmen Electra, Maria Menounos, Leah Renee, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Giuliana Rancic, Stephanie Pratt, Amber Lancaster, Camille Grammer, Kim Richards, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Melissa Rycroft & Tye Strickland, receiving beauty services and goody bags stuffed with products from event sponsors: Wella Beauty Bar, Schick Quattro for Women, Fake Bake, Miami Oasis, Bio-Oil, UV Vodka and Teleflora.
Actor, RJ Mitte attended with his Mom.
Phoebe declined the spray tan from Fake Bake (touted to be a cellulite buster, paraben free and promoting a natural golden customized DNA color). She did say “mais oui” to a massage from the Fairmont Hotel’s Exhale Spa therapist, Kerry, sipped Fuji water, waited patiently to get a “paw” manicure and hair (fur styling) – However, “Sorry, Phoebe, only for 2 legged guests,” was the response.
As most of us do, Phoebe turned to food for comfort and scarfed an abandoned vanilla cupcake for consolation.
Giuliana Rancic of E News (looking great sans makeup) confided that she is a pet person-currently without a furry friend, but hoping to get one soon.
15 year old Australian actor, Kodi Smit-McPhee
(Let Me In and The Road) will be filming Romeo and Juliet in Rome
We headed further west to the GBK Gift Lounge at L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills. This rooftop lounge event attracted Golden Globe Nominees including: Alexander Payne, Callie Thorne, Damian Lewis, Romola Garai and Beau Willimon. Other guests spotted were Joe Mantegna, Jeremy Irons, Mickey Rourke, Glynn Turman, Laura Prepon, Lauren Bowles, Samantha Harris and Ali Fediotowsky.
Blues singer, Billie Holliday had it right when she crooned, “Them that’s got shall get” as the Hollywood heavyweights were showered with clothing, jewelry, trips (All presenters and nominees received Air Pacific round trip for two to Fiji including accommodations) in exchange for posing for product endorsement.
Actor, Jeremy Irons ( HBO’s The Borgias) declined to have a photo taken with Phoebe, saying “I’m not a pet person, I’m a farmer. I have sheep, pigs, cows.” He followed up this statement with a few more words which were unintelligable due to his heavy English accent. Mr. Irons was however, happy to oblige photographers and pose with products like Eos natural, organic lip balm.
Phoebe Rose was eager to strike a pose in exchange for loot but had no offers other than a Tweezerman consult (“snip don’t pluck those chin whiskers”), a delicious sampling of Centerville Pie Company’s signature chicken pie and a dog biscuit courtesy of the L’Ermitage doorman upon exiting the premises.
Undaunted, the irrepressible Miss Rose is looking forward to checking out gifting suites for the upcoming Academy Awards.
