Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Today) 12/21/11—Nicole Polizzi, also known as “Jersey Shore” personality “Snooki” was slapped with a $7 million counterclaim in her off-screen battle with a licensing company, according to the New York Post.

It’s reported that Polizzi entered into a business agreement with SRG Ventures last year to launch an array of Snooki-related merchandise, including watches and school supplies. Yes…school supplies.

The TV personality filed suit in October claiming SRG did not fulfill its obligation to line up enough money and branding partnerships.

SRG responded by hitting the Jersey Shore star and her management company, Neon Entertainment, with the multi-million dollar counterclaim. The suit alleges that Snooki sabotaged their business agreement by negotiating with other brands behind the licensing company’s back.

A rep for Polizzi said, “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”

This dispute follows the lawsuit that fellow “Jersey Shore” cast member Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s filed against Abercrombie & Fitch after they violated his copyrights in making t-shirts that said, “The Fituation” and “GTL…You Know The Deal”.
