Jen Wolf Talks What’s On Trend this Holiday Season
Hollywood,CA(Hollywood Today)12/05/11/—A-List Celebrity Gift Expert Jen Wolf and founder of Leave An Impression Custom Gift Company has an impressive list of stars who have received her baskets including Brad Pitt, Emma Stone, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Lady Gaga, will be on hand to help the stars and guests choose their holiday gifts from her collection of this season’s latest trends at HOLIDAY SHOP FOR A CAUSE event on December 10th, while benefiting Lupus LA, UCLA Cancer Center & Saving Spot Dog Rescue. Hosted by Vidal Sassoon’s daughter Eden Sassoon, at her Pilates Plus studio in Beverly Hills.
Wolf tells Hollywood Today what’s on trend this holiday season: “Duchess High Tea” in honor of Kate Middleton features specialty teas and elderflower water enjoyed by kings and queens over the centuries, biscuits and traditional lemon curd and black currant jam and beautiful tea towels. And “Retro Treats” like creamy mint taffy from Fralingers, recently featured on Boardwalk Empire, handcrafted ribbon candy, old-fashioned peppermint sticks, are in high demand. Wolf says “anything from Brooklyn is on trend right now.” Her favorites are Bellocq teas and Mast Brothers Craft Chocolate. “We have been getting so many requests for Handcrafted and Made in America gifts from Cynthia Cardhan ceramics and eco-friendly post-industrial recycled wooden kid’s toys.”
Wolf is often entrusted with confidential movie scripts, which allow her to truly delve into the setting, characters and themes of the story. For the new James Bond 007 film Skyfall, the script was uber secret and all she can say is that the gifts are inspired from each of the exotic countries featured in the film. On Moneyball, for Brad Pitt and cast, she created a duffel bag made out of Rawlings Baseball glove leather and added Oakland A’s logo items. For the highly anticipated Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, director David Fincher chose beautiful and artfully wrapped cards with donations to the RAIN (Rape Abuse Incest Network) foundation in honor of the cast.
“Jennifer Wolf, has an incredible way of bringing a theme to life with her imagination, creativity and resourcefulness,” Sue Keh Bennett of Columbia Tristar says.
