Tweeting like a Celebrity

By: Patty Rappa

HOLLYWOOD, CA(Hollywood Today)9/24/11/—Wrapping up another amazing Social Media Week here in LA, where the experts came out to share the latest strategies and techniques.  I especially loved hearing the panel from Celebrity and Social Media session.  Each member sharing their expertise in a chillaxed setting at the Paley Center for Media – Beverly Hills, a great way to wrap up the first day.

I especially appreciated learning about a Twitter strategy Ken Hertz, a prestige entertainment attorney, here in Hollywood, shared with the group.  It was a brilliant approach, Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.AM used to engage over a million people without doing any form of formal advertising.  The full story:

Social Media Week is a multi-city global conference connecting people, content and conversations around emerging trends in social and mobile media. With over 75 events hosted at locations all over the city, the September 2011 conference attracts CEO’s, entrepreneurs, journalists, bloggers, brand managers, CMO’s, social media strategists, artists, activists and the technology/media digerati.
The depth, breadth and quality of events across a wide range of topics, industries and causes has generated tremendous positive feedback. We’re excited to be back in Los Angeles in September 2011, and thank all the participants for making it a success. Social Media Week Los Angeles is being produced by SocialRadius.
