Tom Deierlein, a West Point graduate, was deployed to active duty in 2005 and found himself very affected by the living conditions while serving in Iraq. It was then he decided to make a difference.
The Tom Deierlein Foundation partners with local organizations to raise funds for medical treatment and basic necessities for those in need here in the US and internationally. Air lifting shoes, clothing and medical supplies for homeless residents in war torn areas makes a huge difference. Presently, this grassroots operation is working with to help those in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tuesday, December 7th, the TD Foundation held its 5th annual holiday fundraiser at the Time & Life Building in New York City which Hollywood Today was there to cover while on assignment in NYC for the Cablefax Presentations which starts tomorrow @ The Grand Hyatt. Last nights event was sponsored by Collective, NBCU and Universal Audience Platform, Quancast, and Tremor Media, the evening included Mark Westlake and his band “The Modulators” and guests among the Who’s Who from the media industry.
