Grammy and a growing rap sheet for T.I.
LOS ANGELES, CA (Hollywood Today) 09/03/10 – Rapper T.I. was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in West Hollywood on Wednesday night, according to The A.P.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was pulled over at a traffic stop and arrested with wife Tameka Cottle.
A sheriff’s deputy told The A.P. that they were arrested for possession of methamphetamines.
“Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle,” said a representative for the sheriff’s department to The A.P.
The two were released from jail around 4 a.m. on Thursday after each posted $10,000 bail.
This comes just months after T.I. was released from federal prison.

@ Kenneth, until weed is discriminalized its still illegal so stop making excuses for a grown man. Apparently freedom isn’t that important to TI because his actions say he doesn’t care. I just feel bad for his kids because they have a father who continues to put his needs before there own.

This is just sad. He’s a good guy with god music, but he’s kinda being stalked by police and media. Ever since his Weapons possession many years ago they’ve been looking for a way to put him in jail permanently. I don’t think the deserves that though. He broke the law, got what he deserved, and paid what he needed to… that’s that.
