Why Lea Michele Makes the Best Dressed List
By Rekia M. Spencer

LOS ANGELES, CA (Hollywood today) 8/30/10—The award goes to the star
of Glee, Lea Michele for stepping out onto the red carpet strutting
her stuff in Oscar de la Renta.
The beautifully made gown certainly made a statement with its ruffled
skirt and a diamond choker by Lorraine Schwartz.
“I love Oscar de la Renta and I love blue,” she says. “When I saw
this, it was perfect!”
Stars such as Jimmy Fallon, who hosted the ceremony, January Jones,
Jason Sudeikis, Christina Hendricks, Ty Burrell and Amy Poehler,
drifted over to the Los Angeles Convention Center to celebrate at the
Governors Ball.
Most of the stars let their presence be known, by clutching the shiny
statute, while photographers sworn for the perfect moment.
Fallon was one of the many who had a hard time sitting down. He had
an overabundance of hugs and congratulations from his peers such as
Tina Fey, CEO Jeff Zucker and NBC Universal president.
“It’s a tricky thing, hosting, because I couldn’t have done it without
all the help. I had great writers and all the people that came on,
like Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Kate Gosselin, Jorge Garcia and Tim Gunn.
Tina just came from filming, landed and rehearsed for hours the last
two days. We had dancing rehearsals, we’re all sore. I’m just so happy
because that pushed it over the top. … I’m on a high right now. I’m
really happy.”
The celestial heaven themed post-Emmys party hosted more than 3,000
guests. Hanging over the 60-foot-wide raised dance floor, in the
center of the hall, was a 6-foot-diameter mirror ball creating a
“starry, starry night,”
The music was facilitated by Impulse Orchestra, vocalist Barbara
Morrison, the John Proulx Quartet and the Valli Boys. Playing classics
such as “Route 66″ and “Girl From Ipanema”.
Cheryl Hines of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” called the evening “fantastic
