HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywoodtoday)8/29/2010–And the winner for outstanding supporting actress in a Drama goes to
Archie Panjabi of The Good Wife. She had immense joy and passion while
walking on stage. As she states it was a dream come true. This was her
first Emmy nomination. She won for her role of Kalinda Sharma in The
Good Wife. She plays an in-house private investigator that had a very
cynical approach to life and the people around her.
Archie Panjabi was born May 31, 1972 in London. She is a phenomenal
actress known best for her role in Bend it Like Beckham.
She said she shares her award with Christine Baranski also of The Good
Wife. She was a very strong candidate as well for she has given many
emotional performances and is a long time Emmy favorite. Elisabeth
Moss was also a known favorite for this award.
