HOLLYWOOD, CA (HollywoodToday)8/29/2010–Emmy 2010: Outstanding Supporting Actor – Drama – Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad
And the winner for outstanding supporting actor in a Drama goes to
Aaron Paul in Breaking Bad. This was a surprise for most including
Aaron Paul himself. He goes on stage surprised but thankful for his
win. He thanked his family for not crying at home and for being there
for him along with his wonderful cast. This was his second Emmy where
he played Jesse Pinkman. Aaron gives an outstanding performance in
where he is cast as a meth head who was brought up in an upper/middle
class family and was kicked out for his reoccurring drug use. His new
abitions for life are to become a streetwise hustler.
Aaron Paul born August 27, 1979 has won numerous Emmys. He transcends
into many areas of entertainment from appearing in music videos,
several independent films, and guest appearances.
His main competition came from actors Andre Brauger for his role as
Owen in Men of a Certain Age. Also, Terry O’Quinn of Lost. Terry
Quinn acts in every episode in both the California scenes and the
island scenes, which made him such a strong candidate. Lost is coming
to an end which made it such a difficult choice but at least for this
nomination Breaking bad takes the top.
