HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) August 29, 2010- Emmy 2010: Outstanding supporting Actor – Comedy -
Eric Stonstreet, Modern Family

And the winner for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy goes to
Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family. This was a great win for Eric
overwhelmed with joy as he walked on stage. “This is incredible” he
says. “All I want to be is a clown” This win came from his role as
Cameron Tucker who also went by the name “Cam.” He was a bubbly
energetic stay at home father. His overdramatic personality and his
ability to foster so many unusual hobbies, one being a classically
trained Auguste Clown named Fizbo.
Eric Stonestreet was born September 9, 1971 in Kansas. After attending
Kansas State University in 1996 he spent 2 years doing theater in
Chicago followed by moving to Los Angeles to begin his professional
acting career. He played many roles throughout the years before
landing the role of Cam where he is receiving his first nomination.
Close second would be Neil Patrick Harris for his role as Barney
Stinson in How I met your mother. Eric had some real competition here.
But Modern Family will give everyone a real run for there money.
