She Says”I Wanted to go to Sleep and Just be at Peace”

Fantasia was tired of it all

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 08/23/10– Fantasia Barrino’s recent hospitalization shook her fans into prayer.  ”I was tired of people doing me wrong, constantly, over and over again, dealing with my family, my father, dealing with men. I was tired,” she says. “My head was hurting me. I was over it” said Fantasia

No one would have expected she would want to take her own life.

Barrino further explains “I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle,”  “I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can’t accidentally take a whole bottle of pills”.

Fantasia was released from the hospital Aug. 11, two days after her overdose.

Furthermore,Barrino’s manager explained to the press “She is more committed than ever to her daughter and her work because they are her heart, her soul and inspiration.”

Fantasia will address the most recent events in her life when VH1 airs “Behind the Music Tuesday, August 24 at 9 p.m. on VH1.
