ABC in Turmoil?

ABC's Steve McPherson resigns
President of ABC Entertainment Steve McPherson submitted his resignation today and it was accepted. Having brought “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Desperate Housewives” to hits, they really haven’t kept up the ratings and is now in 3rd place. Mr. McPherson said, “I want to thank the wonderful team of individuals who have worked with me throughout my time here and wish them nothing but the best.” His contract was set to expire Sept. 2011.
As the story has been evolving over the past few hours, McPherson said, “I will be announcing my future plans shortly which will include a new entrepreneurial venture in the spirits business … I’ll also reveal plans for my involvement in a new media company.”

It has been confirmed, a few short hours ago, that ABC Family’s Paul Lee will take over for McPherson, having had great success as ABC Family president for the past 6 years.
