The Walt Disney Company has some exciting events in store for Comic Con 2010 in San Diego this week.  Disney, its affiliates and subsidiaries is a leader in family entertainment, and Comic Con is the place to showcase their animated and scripted series and feature films. This year, they’ve pulled out all the stops and brought a huge cast of stars and voices, creators and directors to shine, show and share insights into the goings on a la Disney.

“TRON: Legacy” is back for the third year with an interactive booth which allows visitors the first look at the new toys, electronics and collectibles due out this fall. At the panel on Thursday there will be sneak peeks and Q & A with director Joe Kosinski, producers Sean Bailey and Steven Lisberger along with several cast members, including Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen and Bruce Boxleitner.

ABC TV has several panels planned: “V”, which returns for season 2 this November. Appearing on the panel will be cast members Elizabeth Mitchell, Morris Chestnut, Joel Gretsch, Logan Huffman, Scott Wolf and executive producers Scott Rosenbaum and Steve Pearlman.  They will premiere “No Ordinary Family” on September 28 and stars Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz will be on hand along with creators Greg Berlanti, David Semel and Jon Feldman.

For the first time at Comic Con, ABC brings “Castle” which returns for their 3rd season in September. The panel will include Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Tamala Jones, Seamus Dever, Molly Quinn and Jon Huertas and the executive producers.

Disney Television Animation presents the Emmy winning animated series, “Phineas and Ferb” panel. There is also scheduled the world premiere of the episode “Summer Belongs to You”. “Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil” debuts this year at Comic Con and promises a lively panel, which includes the creator and voices.

Any Disney story worth it’s weight must include the Mouse. Disney Interactive Studios presents the Disney Epic Mickey panel discussion with the game designer, Warren Spector.  Peter David, an award winning comic writer, penned “Tales of the Wasteland”. The discussion will be on bringing the story to life in a Wii video game, comic and novel, and includes sneak peeks at the artwork and game footage.

More coverage to come.
