50 Cent’s football film “Things Fall Apart” co-starring Cedric Sanders Coming Together

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) May 7, 2010 — Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson’s new drama ”Things Fall Apart” feature talented young actor Cedric Sanders is currently in Michigan filming.
50 Cent is reportedly losing 65 pounds for the film, while Sanders says he turned down other lead offers for the challenge of the character and his relationship with 50 Cent’s character. 50 Cent said “Cedric’s character of my brother is practical, awkward, book smart, and has lived in the shadows of his older brother his whole life. When tragedy strikes, the relationship between the two brothers really transforms.”
Sanders said Lynn Whitfield plays their mom. On working with 50 Cent, Sanders admires his dedication to the character, “We’d have a break from rehearsals and he [50 Cent] would immediately head outside to workout. Sanders is fresh off of filming David Fincher’s “The Social Network” opposite Rashida Jones and Jesse Eisenberg, the Alaskan native got his start in films like “American Gangster” opposite Oscar® winner Denzel Washington and the leading role in “The Least Among You” with Oscar® winner Lou Gossett, Jr. This fall he starred in “Rock Steady,” a coming of age drama set in the world of stock-car dirt-track racing.
Called “Hollywood’s newest find” by Starzlife, Sanders career is definitely on the fast track. When talking about his race-car driver role in “Rock Steady” he said, “It’s a fun action comedy, but since I’m in it there’s a little drama too.”
Sanders won an NAACP Theatre Awards for his stellar lead performance in “A Matter of Honor” and an Best Actor Award for “The Least Among You” at the SDBFF. In his personal life, he feels at peace as a young single man living in Los Angeles, and no wonder, Sanders has been spotted on red carpets all over town with gorgeous actress Tiffany Hines (Bones) and other Hollywood’s leading ladies.
