HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 3/19/10 – “Provocative, romantic and electric” are the words that stand for Sue Wong’s Fall 2010 collection.
She was part of Los Angeles Fashionweek kick-off at her atelier at 3030 west six street, near Vermont Ave in Los Angeles.
The collection “La Vie Parisienne” celebrate the essence of the Paris avant-garde, with a group of dresses in black and turquoise chiffon, with jersey trimmed metallic findings.
“The turquoise stones and jet beadings are inspired by the exoticism and mystique of Algeria” she says.
Her new black ruffled taffeta coats and jackets gives her dramatic Victorian gowns a gothic touch, and easier to wear.
The coq feather skirts are still in style this season, an import accent to her gowns, which come in more earthy colors: browns, crimson and deep rich greens.
The materials are chiffon, taffeta and metallic jacquard and the trimmings are a mix of ostrich feathers, coq feathers and organza petals.
“La Vie Parisienne” bride wears a regal gown of Battenberg lace, chantilly, tulle and metallic gold jacquard/silk satin.
The 3 -D embroidered flowers and sequins are important details on her bridal gowns.
