Studios Betting on the future of digital 3-D

“This really is a revolution,” said Jeffrey Katzenberg, the head of DreamWorks Animation SKG.

The future for 3-D never looked brighter, studios ready to cash in on something old, something new. First 3-D 1903 L’arrivee du Train (France 1903) Steroscopic Lumière – currently from the ( U.S.A.) Avatar 3-D 2010.

With many other 3-D  productions getting the blue and  green light, “Dune” the sequel is currently  being considerate for 3-D production.

The Stewardesses is a 1969 Softcore 3-D film directed and written by Allan Silliphant and starring Christina Hart, Monica Gayle, Paula Erickson, and Donna Stanley. Produced on a budget of just over $100,000, the film grossed over $27,000,000 (USD) in 1970 dollars becoming the most profitable 3-D film ever released.
