HOLLYWOOD,CA(Hollywood Today)3-8-2010–3D has arrived and every studio is cashing in on this tried and true special effects, just go ask Alice, breaking box office sales for it’s first days opening. Tim Burton’s 3D Alice In Wonderland film starring Johnny Depp , no wonder. “Tron Legacy” will be the next big 3D film, the ‘D” in this case, means more dollars for Disney studios.

TRON was also the first computer animated film that started it all, with it’s computer special effects, crude by today’s standards,
Can this classic be made into a sequel that can live up to or surpass the first TRON?
With all the new special effects available now, Disney will be using the same 3D cameras the James Cameron used for Avatar, let’s hope that the cool blue look doesn’t take over this film.
Many think that it’s best to leave will enough alone; most sequels never make it, to much riding on the past.
Joseph Kosinski made his feature film directorial debut with Tron Legacy, while the previous film director, Steven Lisberger, returned as a producer. Jeff Bridges reprises his role as Kevin Flynn, and Bruce Boxleitner his roles as Alan Bradley and Tron, while Garrett Hedlund portrays Flynn’s now-adult son, Sam.[6] The other cast members include Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett and John Hurt.[1]

Inside Bridge’s helmet we see him bathed in blue light with his trade marked, longhair and full beard again.
The baddest Dude in space or just another case of bad luck, someone is hunting him down, at lighting speed aboard his lightcycle turning down dark tunnels, weaving back and forth and finally over bridges. The trailer has him racing and being chased, with light trails for the lightcycle, mix in the original sound effects which all goes hand and hand to jump-start this film.
