“If It weren’t for bad luck

I’ll have no luck at all.”

Jeff Bridges Crazy Heart

By Tom Wright

HOLLYWOOD,CA(Hollywood Today) 3-7-2010–Could this be the older Dude down the road and more down on his luck?

Sam Elliot :The Stranger  spoke these words about the Dude “sometimes, there’s a man, well, he’s the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that’s the Dude.”

“Crazy Heart” and Bridges has had all the bad luck it needs, winning the Golden Globes,  Film Independent Spirit Awards show for best feature and  best leading man and just maybe the Oscar.

With a little help from T Bone Burnett and song writer Ryan Bingham,

Jeff Bridges, picking up two awards, Bridges took the stage  performing the song  “Fallin’ and Flyin” from the Oscar nominated film “Crazy Heart”.

Jeff Bridges has been nominated 5 times for an Oscar, maybe the fifth time will be the charm, if so, he will be singing a different tune.

Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) is a broken-down, hard-living country music singer who’s been through some many marriages he’s lost count, played in every Honky Tonk and bowling alleys up and down these highways for years, he is running out of fueled,  with a nasty drinking habit, along with chain smoking  it has taken it’s toll.

“Crazy Heart” has it all, the man, the music and a hard luck story, in “Crazy Heart” Bridges gets his life  turned upside down.

The Dude and Mr. Bad share many things in command like, bowling alleys, both have full facial hair,  with some salt and peppering this time also some  added mileage on their faces and in the end  both get something unexpected, a second chance.

After his performance in “Crazy Heart” we will  beholding to Jeff Bridges  for his love and patience waiting 30 years for his turn on stage to receive his Oscar.

Jeff said that the nods from his peers and family members, brother Beau and special thanks  too his mother and  father Lloyd Bridges . His first love of 15 years is his wife and their two daughters their love is his greatest reward . “I like all those small gold trophies” Jeff said while cursing around Hollywood before the Oscars.

Jeff Bridges returns to the world of Tron after 27 years living inside the computer world.

3D Tron The Legend

Jeff Bridges will be  star in  the remake of a Disney film produced in 3D “TRON the Legend”, returning  as Dr. Kevin Flynn, Jeff is on board saying  that he is here again for the same reasons he did the first TRON film. “Just to be a part of the groundbreaking technology.” Bridges has had his moments before in space staring in Starman this time in now the game  has changed , we will never get weary of his performances

Very nice review. Bridges deserved it and then some. The word, “too” should be “to” though in most instances of your piece.
