There is a mistake in this article. The 1988 Winter Olympics was held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada as well.

Article states "Canada has hosted the games before first Montreal 1976, and now 2010 Vancouver, let hope that history doesn’t repeat itself..."

I've never paid much attention to the Olympics. I'm an avid college and pro football fan, particularly the history of the sport as it pertains to African Americans. I've bonded with my great-grandson around the game and use every opportunity to relate it to what he will experience as an adult. This evening as I was checking out ZapToIt listings I saw a picture of Shani Davis and did some research. Now I'm really interested! Can you provide me with a list of the names of all the 2010 contestants who are of African Heritage? I mentioned my 10 year old great-grandson, Rashaun, above. I'm sharing all that I know and can find out about who we are, what we have overcome, what and how we have achieved, and what the possibilities are for him. The process is challenging and rewarding. His Mom and Grandmother, my granddaughter and daughter, work with him on behavior, academics and responsibility. We love him and are determined to provide him with the tools he will need in the real world. What he will do with them is his choice. Your help with the list will be a blessing.

Thanks in advance! Toni Banks
