“A Day At The Races”

The Oscar has turn in too a horse race with a  photo finish excepted,  inside tips, long shots  looking to move up on the  rail, Clooney and Streep remain the odds on favor.

Approaching the starting gate on March 7th the race has  already heated up for the Academy Awards.

In the starting gates, we have a horse race beginning , Cameron’s film  has all ready made history, Avatar is  in the  books as the largest grossing film in the U.S this year, sinking his Titanic record.

Going off at even money, Bigelow’s Hurt Locker film has come out of the blue winning the DGA’s Best Director Award.

Up in the irons are two great directors a husband and an ex-wife, both on the rides of their lives..

We’re off and running

If you look at the list of nominations, you will see that Avatar is up for a whopping 9 nominations, meaning that James Cameron will likely walk away with an award or two (or nine) during this year’s award show.

Sandra Bullock and the movie she starred in “The Blind Side” could also walk away with a few awards.
