According to Variety the recently released 3DeeShell pioneered glasses-free 3D on the iPhone, and the soon-to-be-released 3DeeClip will make stereo 3D available to a broader consumer market by supporting the iPod Touch as well. Both devices use Spatial View’s unique lenticular lens technology and interlacing software to create auto-stereoscopic 3D on standard mobile LCD displays.

    Hooray for them. 3D will now have a place in social media as well as in theaters and the home. I viewed an example of this at CES and it was fantastic… sharp, clear, full color and really dimensional.

    I’m thrilled that this step has been taken. We, as 3D content producers, see this as yet another screen to deliver our products and another way for advertisers to promote their message in an exciting and unique way.
