Salahis could even land in jail if they keep refusing Homeland Security Committee invitations

Mrs. Salahi and VP Biden who might get fooled again
WASHINGTON, DC (Hollywood Today) Congress may approve Obama’s Afghanistan plan, but they have to deal with the Salahis first – and the White House-crashing couple are not dealing.
Tareq and Michaele Salahi apparently pay no more attention to a very real invite by the House Homeland Security Committee than they did to emails stating they were NOT invited to the White House State Dinner last week.
They apparently don’t know the difference between having your attorney chat with committee staffers and actually appearing before lawmakers under oath. The Salahis say they have said all they can, and will not appear in Congressional Committee today (Thursday).
Needless to say, the Chairman has threatened to subpoena them. Can these fakirs get themselves in any more trouble?
Apparently yes, as they insisted in a TV interview on NBC, which owns Bravo (the station they hoped for a reality show job on) that they were invited to the dinner. But the lie upon a lie was quickly discovered. E-mails between the Salahis and a friend who works at the Pentagon show they had tried to obtain an invitation but never were cleared to attend the exclusive party.
In a statement released Wednesday night through their spokeswoman, “The Salahis said that they felt they had provided all relevant information to the committee and there is nothing further that they can do to assist Congress in its inquiry regarding White House protocol and certain security procedures. They therefore respectfully decline to testify.”
Wrong answer. Rep. Bennie Thompson, chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, will announce today if he will issue the order that may see the couple in cuffs if they don’t change their tune.
Michaele Salahi is apparently no stranger to impersonation, trespassing and deceit. She made it onto the Redskins alumni cheerleading squad — without ever having been a Redskins cheerleader.
Salahi performed at FedEx Field during halftime of the Redskins-St. Louis Rams game Sept. 20 with a group of 150 former Redskins cheerleaders. Salahi’s rehearsals with the group were filmed by a crew that has been following Michaele Salahi and her husband, Tareq, for possible inclusion on a cable TV reality show, “The Real Housewives of D.C.”
Several former cheerleaders said in interviews with the Washington Post that Michaele Salahi’s presence at a rehearsal drew attention because of the TV cameras, but also suspicion because no one seemed to remember her as a cheerleader for the team.
