HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 11/14/2009 – CBS 48 Hours producer Robert “Joe” Halderman, alleged David Letterman extortionist,  is asking the judge to dismiss the charges of first-degree larceny for lack of sufficient evidence. Lawyer Gerard Shargel  is characterizing it  as a business deal gone bad. Is it too late to collect? Will Halderman next sue Letterman for writing him a bad check?
