NEW YORK (Hollywood Today) 10/15/09 – Her role as a bisexual seductress in “Jennifer’s Body” wasn’t enough to suck in theatergoers last month, but Giorgio Armani is hoping that fanboy favorite Megan Fox will bring in “Transformers”-sized business as its newest underwear model.

The fashion company announced Wednesday that the 23-year-old would grace billboards, magazines and other media wearing both scanty unmentionables and Armani jeans. The advertising campaign is scheduled to start in January.

While horror flick “Jennifer’s Body” has just barely broken its $16 million budget in worldwide box-office receipts, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com, the Michael Bay “Transformers” franchise, which rocketed Fox to fame as action eye candy in 2007, has made approximately $721.3 million in total, despite reviews ranging from mixed (“Transformers”) to dismal (“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”).

The third installment in the live-action recreation of the animated 1980s children’s series has been scheduled for release the Friday before Independence Day in 2011. Fox will return as the girlfriend of actor Shia LaBeouf’s character, despite having publicly revealed her dislike for Bay and comparing the blockbuster director to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and French tyrant Napoleon.
