HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today LBN) 9/16/09 –Mary Travers, whose ringing, earnest vocals with the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary made songs like “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “If I Had a Hammer” “Leaving on a Jet Plane” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” enduring anthems of the 1960s protest movement, has died at 72.

Robert Atlman said So sad that Mary Travers passed way too early. She loved it when Sinatra referred to Peter, Paul and Mary as “Two Rabbis and a hooker.”
