Like the Blues Brothers, Bozzio on a quest to get band back together for new album and tour

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 8/23/09 – Still beautiful Missing Person singer Dale Bozzio has been channeling Frank Zappa lately, with whom she worked with back in the day.
And Zappa, considered a God in some circles, apparently wants her to get the band back together with the same key Missing Persons he originally helped put in place.
As with the Blues Brothers, easier said than done. One main member is her ex-husband and drummer Terry Bozzio, and re-joining with ex-es, can be a complex matter.
“Frank is telling me to go get Terry,” Dale told Hollywood Today. “Frank was a mainstay of our little world and gave us everything we have. He gave me a life.”
She added “I knew Frank since I was 16 and a half. He gave us everything we have. I still visit his grave.”
Dale, known for singing 80s/90s hits like “walking in LA,” “Words,” Destination Unknown,” and “Mental Hopscotch,” the group became first a West Coast fave, then a MTV staple.
Warren Cuccurullo was the other key member of the band that Frank built, Warren was his touring guitarist.
“I’ve conquered my tears,” said Dale, who performed at the the Taste of Coto de Caza Food and Music in Orange County this weekend. “I’m 5’2″ but people expect me to be taller,” she said of the expectations on her.
Warren went on to work with Duran Duran. Terry worked with top acts from Mick Jagger to Korn. Dale has the Missing Person’s name legally to tour with and has released solo material.
“I’ve been trying to get the original band back for nine years. Now is the time. Frank says it is time.”
Earlier this summer, Dale had a scrape with the law over living conditions of her cats, which she said was due to an employee not showing up to care for them while she was on the road.
“The whole thing is like a freakin’ set up to get me in the goddamn Ossipee [New Hampshire] jail,” she said in an exclusive Phoenix interview, and went on to outline a small-town conspiracy involving crooked cops and lying witnesses who looked down on her as “an outsider,” she told the Boston Phoenix.
Just days earlier, on Thursday, May 21, 2009, Bozzio – sporting a suit and short, gray hair – appeared in the Ossipee courthouse. She was sentenced to 90 days, community service and a $2,700 fine according to the Boston paper.
The case is on appeal.
Dale believes all will be ok, as Frank intends from rock and roll heaven. We hope he is jamming with Elvis and John.

Is this the kind of crap you Americans in California take seriously?
Is Dale Bozzio seriously telling us that he is wasting his heavenly time pleading the case that MP should reform? I think his cosmic dust would be better spent advising Mrs Zappa to plan strategy. I would caution Ms Bozzio to seek urgent psychiatric help.
