Police keep cause of death sealed, film “This is It” comes out Halloween

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 9/10/09 — A Superior Court Judge has approved Michael Jackson’s rehearsal tapes and final London concerts may be made into a film, and Sony will release “This is It” Oct. 30 with some 3-D footage included.
Sony actually cut the deal a month ago, but it took a judge to seal it because of Jackson’s complicated estate. Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother and guardian of his children, also approved the deal.
The deal included hundreds of hours of rehearsal, behind the scenes, concert and other footage, primarily from his London concert dates.
Kenny Ortega, a longtime collaborator of Michael’s and director of “High School Musical,” will direct the film, according to the LA Times.
It does NOT appear to include Jackson’s final rehearsals made Just before Jackson’s collapse and death in June. Many people are interested in that footage as it would indicate Michael’s health towards the end, yet footage leaked indicated he was in fine form for dancing at least his basic moves.
The release, though in a busy film weekend, will coincide with Sony Music’s re-release of the Thriller song and video, timed for Halloween.
The LAPD is still keeping the official cause of death secret, ostensibly to help with the investigation of doctors and others who may have contributed to the singer’s demise. Yet those involved already know, so it’s a bit ambitious for the police to think they will sneak up on someone. This writer believes the LAPD should release the Coroner’s report should be made public and his fans should demand it.
Since Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009 of what HT has been told is a cocktail of prescription drugs, Jackson had several physicians and one was even present at about 12:20 p.m. that day. Dr. Conrad Murray’s premises have been raided repeatedly by police, so he is unlikely to be surprised by the Coroner’s report, completed today. So let’s make the cause of death public, if only cause it may deter others from over-using or mixing prescription drugs, a time bomb in the medicine chests of people across America.
