Paul and Ringo intro new game at E3, Paul to hit road again
By Jeffrey Jolson
HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) Paul McCartney is an event, no matter where he plays, and now how. Not only is he performing live at the opening the new Citi Field Stadium, he is doing a virtual Beatles reunion with Ringo as well as (deceased, of course) John and George on a new music game just announced at the E3 conference.
The graphics and music are stunning Beatles, and designed to knock “Guitar Player” down an octave or two – as there is no person on the planet that does not know a Beatles song or 45 of them – and that’s how many are on the game to play along to.
Paul and Ringo introduced the game at E3 and it was impressive seeing Lennon and Harrison on the electronic stage – and in perfect Beatles harmony. “The Beatles: Rock Band” is simply up to the task as a video game of sorts and even uses themes such as the walrus costumes in the psychedelic “I Am the Walrus.”
“We never thought we’d end up as androids,” Sir Paul said onstage.
