Still smiling into the oui hours

HOLLYWOOD CA (Hollywood Today) 2/23/09- Madonna was not the only one with a late night party after the more traditional post-Oscar parties. The Cinema City film Festival organized a Oscar viewing party.
show and gifting suite to benefit the Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund.
It was all put together under the same roof of the ballroom of Hyatt Century City.
The evening started with cocktails and an hour long awards presentation of Writer Competition 2009 of feature screenplays.(Photo shows winner Aaron Mento -writer of Survival High)
Suzanne DeLaurentis ,festival director started her DeLaurentis Production in 1982 and have been working with Cinema City Film Festival since the last four years.
She and co-director and founder Juliette Harris was proud to present evenings’ main sponsor American Airlines and headline performer Joe Finley.
Other important sponsor of this special night was One Hope Wine, Joey’s vintage cigars, Pama liquor and Pant Planet beddings.
Philadelphia-born Joseph Patrick Finley has always been singing and playing guitar since early age. After playing with a couple of cover bands , Joe started his own band “Middle Class”
This year he will receive the prestigious Los Angeles Music F.A.M.E. award.
Another headliner and newcomer was singer-songwriter Dillon Campbell. He is best known as son of legendary country music superstar Glen Campbell.
He grew up in Hidden Hills, California and began his songwriting at early age that became fruit to his first song “Dorothy”-named after his beloved grandmother that passed away.
Cinema City International Film festival welcomed him as the nights closing night performance before the guest moved up to the viewing mixer at the Hyatt Century City Lounge.
In an other part of town,Mr Chow, in Bevery Hills, Leeza Gibbons and Olivia Newton John teamed up with David Foster to present Leeza Gibbon’s “A Night To make A Difference.”

This was a party with a purpose to benefit Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Olivia Newton John’s Cancer and Wellness Center-all to bring together stars from film,music,sports and fashion to celebrate the worlds of celebrity and charity.
The main reason Leeza started this foundation was growing up with a mother suffering from the Alzheimer disease.
Gibbon’s party was a clear competition to Elton John Foundation ongoing event in West Hollywood and she gathered a few hundred high profile guests throughout the evening, such as Cindy Crawford, Laila Ali, Jessica Biel, Paul Dejoria and Mario Lopez.
The evening featured a ten course meal with signature cocktails from Mr. Chow and musical performances by Grammy Awards winner R&B singer Thelma Houston.
Celebrity stylist Ken Paves sponsored by Aveeno Nourish hair care collection was present in the “Touch Up Vip Lounge” to talk to the stars about red carpet beauty regime and viewers
could get a behind the scene look at celebrities about their make up and hair touch up.
DJ Steve Aoki kept the energy up until at least 2.a.m when we were ready to roll into bed after a busy day.
