Mumbai Massacre Now Linked to Pakistan: War to Follow?
The Mumbai terrorists wanted a war. Will they get one? It may take another Gandhi to stop it.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 11/29/08 — As reported on Hollywood Today two days ago, Pakistan terrorists are now getting the blame for the Mumbai massacres, now up to as many as 190 dead. But why was HT among the first to ID the culprits, and not the BBC, CNN, New York Times, etc.?
We reported the obvious: that the terrorists had come in by boat, not needed if the unknown intra-Indian group Deccan who claimed responsibility. And while there is a very large Muslim faction in the mainly Hindu country, they could have arrived by taxi. We said the supposed rebel group was a front for Pakistani rebels - who are looking to put a wedge in ongoing Indian-Pakistani peace talks.
It did not take Sherlock Holmes to note that the cell phones found on slain terrorists all had Pakistani phone numbers on last number dialed and frequent friends and family. But why did the Western media take so long to mention this?
What’s more is why a dozen or so terrorists had been able to kill so many without effective action against them, or a plot that had apparently taken months to construe had not been foreseen, or at least had a Plan B to confront. Granted the killers had familiarized themselves with the targeted fancy hotels - not much more than any guest or busboy temp might be able to learn.
India will face sharp questions about why operations to flush out a handful of assailants at the Jewish center and at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower had not moved more rapidly.
Finally Indian officials specifically linked the attacks to their neighbor as India’s foreign minister blamed “elements in Pakistan” for the attacks, spreading the repercussions of the attacks beyond India’s borders, according to the New York Times. American intelligence and counterterrorism officials said Friday that there was mounting evidence that a Pakistani militant group - Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has long been involved in the conflict with India over the disputed territory of Kashmir - was responsible.
All told, after attackers were cleared from a second hotel and a Jewish center on Friday, more than 150 people had died. Most of the dead were apparently Indian citizens, but at least 22 foreigners were killed. Among the dead reported were a rabbi from Brooklyn and his wife, who ran the Jewish center.
