Palinology — New Humor Books Dishes All: “101 Things You Didn’t Know about Sarah Palin”

WASILLA, ALASKA (Hollywood Today-RUSHPRNEWS)10/14/2008- — Writer and comedian Gregory Bergman wants to go down in history as Sarah Palin’s court jester, along with co-author Paula Munier, and as they told RushPRnews, they both believe that Governor Palin of Alaska is living proof that politics does indeed make strange bedfellows. Their recently-published humor book, titled “In 101 Things You – and John McCain – Didn’t Know about Sarah Palin”, dishes the comic dirt about

a woman Bergman describes as “the (reputed) Republican darling from Alaska who’s taken the nation by (ice) storm.”

Buyer beware: this is not your grandfather’s bio-op of a long loved politician. No, it’s an irreverent look at Wasilla’s “Miss Congeniality”, and the witty Bergman reveals more than 100 bizarre and obscure facts about the bizarre and formerly obscure governor from Alaska, including such gems as:

– “Sarah Palin supports funding for abstinence-only programs in schools. Just call her Grandma.”

– “In 2007, Sarah Palin offered US$150 to every Alaskan hunter who hacked off the left foreleg of a wolf shot from a plane. Talk about wolves being thrown, uh, to the wolves.”

– “Sarah Palin once dressed as Tina Fey for Halloween. She gained 20 IQ points and a sense of humor.”

Bergman and Munier say their book is “funnier than fiction”. Who knows? Who knew?

Bergman hails from Los Angeles and has previously written “The Little Book of Bathroom Philosophy,” among other titles. He says on his blog, surely in jest, that he just might vote for Palin on the GOP ticket.
Why? “Because she’s one hot MILF of a politician.”

Munier, a veteran writer and editor, lives in Boston. She says of
herself: “Army brat and the mother of three, grandmother of one, she could shoot guns, run 5Ks, and ban books with the rest of the Caribou Barbies any time if she so chose. But she chooses not to.”
