Uni Horror Awards feature Corman, Benz and Hooper
Saw still cuts at Eyegore Awards

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 10/7/08 — Universal Studios kicked off “Halloween Horror Nights” with its 6th Eyegore Awards this week. This year’s horror film awards went to Julie Benz, star of “Dexter” and Saw V, and Tobe Hooper, director of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist.
This year’s Eyegore Awards awards for best horror show were presented by legendary producer and director Roger Corman that also was last year’s winner.
His resume’ features more than four hundred movies. Also present were rock singer Ogre from the band Skinny Puppy and actor Corey Feldman best known for his role in “Lost Boys 2″,The Tribe and Friday the 13th as the evening’s co-host.
Other award winner was Bill Moseley,the famous Choptop from Texas Chainsaw Massacre II and
star of Rob Zombie’s “House Of 1000 Corpses.”
The Theme park’s unique “Terror Tram-THe Nightmare Tour” will be this year’s main ride and it features scenes from “Psycho house”,”War Of the Worlds”and Freddys Nightmare on Elmstreet”
“Halloween Horror Night”s in Universal Studios will go on every Friday and Saturday until November 1st”-eleven nights in total and the showtime will be from 7pm to midnight.
