Anti-aging Tech Reaching New Levels
Whether you are in your 20s or 50s, anti-aging strategies can make the big difference between living or leaving a good-looking corpse

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 9/23/08 — Face-lifts, tummy-tucks, Botox and liposuction may make you look good but these procedures do nothing for you in the anti-aging process. Cosmetic procedures are only skin deep and because they do not aid the body in anti-aging, they simply prepare you to look good at your own funeral.
Today, so many get caught up in the looking-young aspects of aging trying to look like models or movie stars. Those people often have a slew of doctors, nutritionists and trainers, not like the rest of us. We can totally miss the most essential key to anti-aging — being healthy while maximizing your biological time clock. Anti-aging is about so much more than just looking good. It is creating optimal health to keep your body biologically as young as possible from the inside out. The goal of anti-aging should be to maintain health without medications and without illness. Real anti-aging enhances the quality of your life. It’s beating the chronological clock and biologically having a younger, healthier body.
Are you in your twenties and think that anti-aging is just for baby-boomers? Think again. You are exposed to toxins and chemicals everywhere you turn: in your air, water, soil, personal care products and cleaning products etc. These chemicals and toxins are part of your environment and you must protect yourself.
Where do you begin? There are several critical components to anti-aging:
All health and disease starts in the cells. Anti-aging is a cellular process! The most important key to anti-aging is cellular health. There are 2 essential aspects of cellular health: glutathione (GSH) and clustered water.
Glutathione (GSH) is found in every human, plant and animal cell. It is the master anti-oxidant necessary for your immune system to function properly. Each day as the body reproduces millions of cells many are dysfunctional, cancerous etc. and need repair. It’s the glutathione that is a major component in cellular repair which keeps our cells healthy. However, it’s critical to maintain intracellular levels of GSH at 70% or higher. With less than 70% intracellular GSH the cell will either become diseased or die. The importance of glutathione (GSH) cannot be overemphasized - it is essential to fighting off toxins, repairing the cells and maintaining cellular health. GSH is crucial for anti-aging.
Clustered water is another vital aspect of cellular health. Cellular hydration is critical for healthy cell function. With age and disease intracellular water declines. There are 2 kinds of water: bound (tap water and drinking water) and structured (clustered water). Bound water hydrates at the tissue level but cannot permeate the cellular walls as clustered water does. Clustered water facilitates the removal of toxins from the cell as well as enhances the delivery of nutrients. Clustered water is essential in the anti-aging process.
Lifestyle also plays a significant role in the anti-aging process. Lifestyle consists of your daily habits including what you eat and drink, the medications you take, your exercise routine, your sleep patterns and the amount of stress you are subjected to. All of these factors have an impact on your body and your anti-aging process. Processed foods and food toxins including artificial sweeteners, corn syrups, hydrogenated and partially-hydrogenated fats, food preservatives, food dyes, soda, diet soda and energy drinks should be avoided as much as possible.
A healthy lifestyle can aid the body in anti-aging. A healthy lifestyle should include:
• Dietary intake consisting mostly of live foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, omega-3 eggs, live cultured yogurts, grass fed meats, range free poultry).
• GSH and Clustered Water supplementation is critical to help insure cellular health.
• Exercise is an important component of anti-aging and should be done at least three times per week.
• Make sure that you’re getting enough sleep- rest provides for regeneration.
• Minimize the stress in your life as much as possible.
• Do not use nicotine or drugs (recreational or long-term prescription)
• Limit alcohol intake as much as possible.
